Summary: How a young woman, romantically and professionally broken, will once again get a taste for life when she leaves the city to live in the countryside…

Shino feels totally lost in her life. She goes out with a past work colleague, Masaki, quite macho… and troubles at her work make her leave it. She moves out, takes her independence, moves away from Masaki and settles in a tiny room in an old building of suburbs. On her arrival, she finds a little garden she shares with her neighbours, a couple her own age. And little by little, she feels more and more attracted to the mysterious man who lives next door.

Opinion: Graphics are awesome as always. Love George Asakura. It’s a very Mature sketchy large feel. Real?

I love this plot, as with almost all plots by George Asakura. It’s so realistic. She does a great job at showing the ups and downs of relationships, bringing to light all sorts of problems. It’s interesting to see how the main character is growing. The relationships between everyone in the story are amazing. The heroine and her exes, the boss and his girlfriend, even the gay guy, the heroine, and the co-worker. It’s all so intricate and realistic. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to point out a slice of life so plainly before. Love it.

Read this, you must at some point in your life read this. It is awesome.

I remember starting it a long time ago and was confused, but I think it was the translation or something. If you keep going past the first chapter, after she moves, it gets really, really good. I promise.
