Opinion: Graphics are fantastic in an artistic way. Every page could be a piece of art for the wall. It would be easy to compare it to “Bride of the Watergod” due to the clothing and setting, but I think they are both beautiful in their own way. Although “Bride of the Watergod” is absolutely breathtaking.
I just love Lee So-Young so I have a huge bias. In each of her series she manages to capture human emotion so perfectly. Her characters are so round out, believable, and addicting.
The suspense is KILLING ME. So I will sit here consumed with LUST for the rest of the evening.
It’s a really good series. A lot of woman power, a lot of strength, and the perfect hint at romance to keep you going.
The only downfall would have to be how confusing it can be. But this is probably entirely because of me not understanding the culture and some stuff not translating properly culturally. (Ie: no english word/ western equivalent situation) I run into the same problem with Goong and Bride of the Water God so I’m not surprised. I tend to zone out but then it gets confusing. ;_; (Poor me)
Overall I love it. I love it so much I want it to be licensed.
