Opinion: I read this when it came out two years ago and was so impressed. The re-read factor isn’t really there but it’s still a really great read and really affordable at that.

The art is amazing as always. Mari Okazaki has such a beautiful and unique art style she is hands down one of my favourite mangaka.

The plot contains 4 short stories about 3 women in their mid to late thirties grappling with the expectation of marriage. What it means to be a single 30-something-woman as a daughter, a worker, and in society.

The series is very thoughtful and thought provoking. I first read this in my late twenties and it struck a cord. If there were ever a a book of proverbs for adult who are single this is it.

If you are an adult woman who enjoys thought provoking or slice of life josei you will enjoy this. If you’re looking for romance there isn’t any in this short series sorry! Still worth the read in my opinion though!
