Opinion: The art is meticulous and detailed as expected from Matsuri. This story is highly addicting. The plot is so original and complicated you’re just always aching for more. The only downfall are the releases. Shoujo Beat releases are really slow compared to the scanlations. Unfortunately the scanlations from volume 7 just got worse and worse. There was suddenly no monopoly on the series and quite a few scanlators scrambled to put out their scans first. This resulted in quicker releases, but horrible translations and worse quality. My biggest hangup is the translations. I’d suggest keeping to the legal released copies to remain un-confused. That’s the story’s only downfall, is it gets really confusing… but I’m almost 100% sure it’s the scanlators fault (Sorry guys, I know you worked hard.) So theres some good triangle action (Kaname!) and VAMPIRES. And who doesn’t love vampires?
