Summary: High school is difficult for most kids. But for Kayano, a shy girl whose single mother seems to work all the time, it’s even worse than usual. She’s so afraid of drawing attention to herself that she can’t tell the handsome Kamijo how much she loves him until one day she finally gets up the courage to write him a letter confessing her feelings.

When she goes to give him the letter all her plans go awry. She’s given the letter to the wrong person!

Accidentally, she’s given her love letter to Takeru Edogawa who just so happens to be the school principal’s son, head of the delinquents and the notorious “Prince of Attraction”! To Kayano he seems like Satan himself. Not only is he devilishly handsome, but he seems to take the utmost pleasure in making her suffer.

Things only get more interesting when Kayano’s mother comes home one day and announces she’s getting married again — To principal Edogawa! What will Kayano do when she has to live with this devil 24/7? How will she cope with her literal “Hell on Earth”?

Graphics Rating: 4/5
Plot Rating: 4/5

Opinion: Personally, I LOVE the graphics. It is older and very unique so some people don’t like it, but I found it to be really realistic. The lead male constantly reminds me of Miyavi (drools). Anyways. The plot. So they are step-Siblings and they fall in love. I tend to fall in love with most forbidden relationship manga. I remember reading this for the first time in the summer. I read the whole thing from 11 PM to 5 AM and just bawling at the ending. It does a good job of drawing you in and keeping you wanting more.

Some complaints for the story are as follows:
-The graphics. *Already explained, they are unique.
-The heroine cries a lot near the end. *Cause it is freaking sad! She does cry a bit much, but I have read WAY worse manga with useless moping heroines. (Love Celeb)
-Predictable *I honestly found it completely original. But honestly, I’m so naive I wouldn’t be surprised.

Overall? READ IT. I read it twice online, then I went out and bought it. Then I read it a couple more times. Way worth it.

Final Rating: 4/5

Extra: From the author of Crimson Hero

As well there is a drama, but I wouldn’t watch it unless you have serious time to waste. It is SO CHEESY I was just laughing the whole time. Ruined the manga. Watch at your own peril.

  1. LOVE THIS MANGA TO DEATH! Ordered volumes 1-4 yesterday at Borders! This is one of the best mangas I have ever read.

    P.S: I’m a little embarrassed to say this, but I cried. . . . at a part at the end (I’m not going to say what part so I don’t spoil anything for other people) and when the whole thing ended. ^^;

On my fave romance manga list, this is #1 one and my absolute fave manga list this is tied with Bleach.

    ^w^

  2. I can’t lie either, I bawled my eyes out.
I read the whole series in one night so it was an emotional roller coaster.
I remember going to bed at 6 Am with red eyes. :)
