Desperate, she attended a goukon (a group blind date) where she met Kiriyama Naoya, whose first words to her was “You’ll never get a boyfriend.”
Now, what would this strange meet-up lead to?

Opinion: I want to love this but there are a couple things that are holding me back.
The art is pretty good and recognizable. It’s interesting how she draws males a bit sharper and the females are rounder and bouncier. I recognized the art right away and was surprised to be reading something from the author of KouKou Debut. That said the male lead reminds me so much of KouKou Debut, but the female lead in this series is much more annoying compared to KK Debut.
This series is quite dramatic. While I’m loving the theme of a girl learning the difference between liking someone and just having a boyfriend, the female lead is annoying. So many dramatic miscommunications because the characters can’t just be honest, it’s infuriating. I was on the edge of my seat from the fake relationship in volume 3 onwards. I wanted to pull my hair out.
That said it’s a really straight forward shoujo series. If you don’t mind drama then you will probably love this series!
Final Rating: 3/5
Extra: From the same mangaka as KouKou Debut
