Opinion: This was so sweet. This review is after one volume but I was really so smitten I wanted to review it quick so y’all can join me.
The art is so wonderful. It reminds me of a josei version of Arina Tanemura. It’s very typical josei while also very unique to this artist. I love how buxom the heroine is too. I hate the male leads haircut but his personality makes up for it.
So onto plot! This series is so cute! Very rare to have a First Love series in Josei and the mangaka mentions that in her notes. Both the heroine and the male lead are virgins who have never been in a serious relationship before. I’m a fan of workplace romance and this is a refreshing twist.
The heroine is quite lovable. She is gorgeous but also a hard-working woman who enjoys her career. The male lead seems really sweet and genuine. Their first date had me swooning.
If you’re looking for a sweet and loving smutty Josei this is a really great read.
