Summary: The “self bully” Ban has a normal enough life, and where divorced parents aren’t that uncommon, her life becomes shadowed in mystery when her mother, Eun-Joo, suddenly brings their “distant relative” Jin-Whan home to live with them. Ban’s mother would always avoid the topic of her family, so who is this strange boy? Are they really relatives? What torturous secrets does her mother’s past hold? And what do the sudden strange happens that follow in Jin-Whan’s wake mean? Would a better question not be who is he, but what?

Opinion: Love it, the Korean style with a bunch of details. With this being her latest work you can really see how Hyeon-Sook has progressed as an artist.
The story, as with everything Hyeon-Sook writes, is sick a twisted. The characters are demented. I hate everyone. But it’s so strange because although I hate everyone it feels like you’re supposed to. Pieces of information are revealed so slowly it’s down right stressful. If you love suspense like that you will LOVE this.
Oh by the way the supernatural part is: {Spoiler Highlight: Vampires} The suspense on that one was killing me. Was it aliens? Because after having my ass kicked around by “President Dad” for 7 volumes I just couldn’t take it anymore. It seems cliche and the go to supernatural right now but I just LOATHE aliens.
It’s a great dark psychological twisted series.
