Opinion: Love the graphics. Cute and modern. Very down to earth with not a TON of glitter… but it’s there.

Okay so with the plot. GUYS, I have a LOT of feelings about this series. All the feelings. It’s so sweet (in the perfect way) and refreshing. I just cannot get over how amazing the heroine is. She isn’t vain or obsessive or overtly insecure. There isn’t this constant melodramatic undertone. The heroine is just continually genuine and honest. You can’t help but love her. It isn’t even like she is some wonder woman either, she isn’t unrealistically perfect and gracious.

And you know what? The heroine has this great relationship with her friends which is always a plus for me.

The guy is interesting and unique. The romance is slow and realistic. Nothing in the series seems super forced except this strange arc you get into around Ch.27. (When you catch up can we all agree wtf?)

I really really really enjoyed this series. It’s an awesome high school/first love romantic novel done perfectly.

  1. I totally share your opinion on this series! I went to read Hana-kun to Koisuru Watashi after I read your post a couple months ago and even if I was prepared to things go crazy after chapter 27, I was really shocked about how weird this arc is. Seriously, it isn’t making much sense!
I also enjoyed this a lot. As you pointed out, the heroine is fantastic (I love how she wasn’t completely lonely and hopeless, as most girls tend to be depicted) and it was a low-drama, refreshing story… Until this most recent arc, but I still have hope it will change for the better.

Thank you very much for your comments on this manga! ^_^
