Yuri, a college student, is saved by Ouya Toshiomi, the young leader of the Ouya group when she’s being forced into consuming illegal drugs at a party. Since then, even though she doesn’t want to get involved with the internal dealings of the Yakuza, she can’t help but fall for Toshiomi’s surprisingly gentle smile. This is the story of two people who are attracted to each other, but the courtship of a man who lives staking his life may be too fierce and crazy…
“Yuri, it might be our last night, so let’s get crazy together.”

Opinion: Let me start with explaining I saw this series when I was in Japan at every book store AND then the Lawson next to my air bnb. I couldn’t resist and ended up buying three volumes to the series that I couldn’t read. So while looking at the pictures I was in love and it wasn’t on E-Renta (it is in Japan). So I found it online.
The graphics are 100 hands down. The best part of this series are the graphics. It’s unique and sexy. Most pictures could be used as art on literally anything. Guys or girls, this is a gorgeous Josei.
The heroine is a bit boring but the male lead is so much fun. In a rare move in Josei the male lead is a super dangerous Yakuza with a heart of gold. Ok, he may not be mother Theresa but I can’t remember the last mature josei series I read where the male lead was so loving to the heroine. While I’ll always love Tsunderes, watching Toshiomi dote on Yuri melted my cold heart.
The one thing holding me back from giving the plot 5/5 is the third/fourth volume look like it gets kind of tropey. It’s not bad, I’ll love it, but it’s not unique or profound enough for a 5. It’s still kind of that predictable mature romance.
If you’re looking for a well written/drawn smutty series you will absolutely love this series as much as I have.
