Opinion: Graphics are great fantastic… love it. Very shoujo with it’s own sparkle.
The first chapter had me howling with laughter. I haven’t been so strung up on a romance/laughed so hard in one series since “Sonan Jyanaiyo”… which is my favourite. The heroine is the most recent archetype of “smart/strong female lead who doesn’t really know anything about love and is very blunt about it.” The boys are interesting too. I dunno I really love this and can’t wait to read more!

Opinion: Graphics are so gorgeous on some complete next level. Extremely detailed, very pretty, gorgeous guys/girls… love it.
The plot is the only thing wrong with this series. So it IS about Vampires. It’s actually pretty interesting but the fact that it has been squished into one volume has turned an otherwise interesting plot into an unbelievable and tacky mess. Plot only a little better then those harlequin romance manga. (Why are those so consistently AWFUL?)
Only read if you really love vampires or only read manga for the graphics.

Opinion: Graphics are a little less then typical shoujo. I would say typical but the guys all look the same… as well as the females sometimes too.
So I thought this was a series… but it’s a series of oneshots? I’m sad cause the first story has three chapters and it was really interesting? But it just kind of… stops. At the most interesting part.
So yeah, each short story has 1 to 3 chapters over the span of a bunch of volumes. All of the stories deal with Urban Legends. It was interesting… I guess. But didn’t really stand out. I will not keep up with the series. Not my jam.

This is hands down a slice of life manga. If you enjoy sweet mundane stories with random down to earth stirrings this is it. He seems to be such a normal guy and then you find out that he was raped… a lot… but he acts so indifferent about it. It’s just a repressed memory. But I think it really gives a reason as to how he treats other people. He seems so sweet though.
It’s captivating but frustrating at the same time because I genuinely don’t get him. He doesn’t make sense. But it makes for some great moments. I dunno… I really like it…

Opinion: I just love Setona Mizuhiro so much. -Cries- The art is very unique but definitely the usual for this author. Definitely a more grown up feel rather then the flowers everywhere shoujo. But then again it is Josei.
I loved this. It had me howling with laughter. I think I’m fairly biased but if you have social anxiety this is exactly what it feels like. It feels like there is a council in your brain taking facts, over analyzing them, and most of the time make you feel bad for your decisions. It also makes you awkward as hell.
The whole situation is very original. I’ve never heard of this kind of idea but Setona does these stories so well. Definitely out there, but so amazing.

Opinion: Art is great. I really really love the characters though. I’ve read a lot of manga and I guess I’ve gotten used to certain characters drawn a certain way (Aka the heroine, the best friend, the antagonist) but everyone has this unique look. The heroine having short dark hair? What? I dunno… it caught me off guard and I found it intriguing.
It’s SO INTERESTING. God, I haven’t been this hooked on a mystery since “Arisa“. It’s really intense and the pacing is phenomenal. The chapters are really long but are like mini stories within the larger picture. It sounds confusing but it works. Each character is interesting and you really get to know everyone. Usually I skip chapters that focus on side characters but each character adds to the plot line. Everyone is connected in these strange ways.
As you can see I’m smitten with this series, so why the 4/5 for plot? So far it’s 9 volumes long and it’s STILL GOING! Although I love it and it’s been interesting and hasn’t given me a reason to doubt… how could they keep it going for that long? I dunno… but I’ll see you guys at the end.

The story is so darn adorable. Definitely not your idea of fun if you are looking for a strong female lead but the heroine is still cute. So masochistic. The male lead is Tsundere to the max. It’s just so sweet.
A little predictable at times. Uses a lot of Shoujo Cliches.
But still… so. AWESOME.
Chapter 17 will always be my favourite chapter. ALWAYS.
